By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Tally, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you use Tally on behalf of a company, studio, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms and any applicable purchase or trial terms, Tally grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software for internal media ingest, verification, reporting, and related production workflows.
- You may use Tally only within the activation, device, and version limits described at download or purchase.
- You may not resell, sublicense, lease, rent, or distribute Tally except where Tally expressly authorizes it in writing.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law permits that activity despite this restriction.
3. Trials, Purchases, and Updates
Trial versions may include functional, time-based, or activation-based limits. Paid licenses, perpetual versions, updates, and support entitlements are governed by the pricing and product details presented at the time of purchase.
Tally may release fixes, compatibility updates, and product improvements at its discretion. Some updates may be limited to specific versions or license tiers.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for choosing source and destination volumes, confirming available capacity, reviewing verification outcomes, and ensuring the software is appropriate for your workflow, devices, and storage environment.
You are also responsible for maintaining your own backups, redundancy, archival procedures, and operational review before relying on transfer results in production or delivery scenarios.
5. Reports, Logs, and Verification Output
Tally may generate transfer logs, manifests, reports, and verification records based on the information available during use. While Tally is designed to provide dependable technical output, you remain responsible for reviewing and validating reports before relying on them for client delivery, compliance records, or archival confirmation.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use Tally in a way that violates applicable law, infringes another party’s rights, interferes with the security or operation of the software, or attempts to misuse licensing, activation, or update mechanisms.
7. Intellectual Property
Tally and all related software, branding, documentation, interface elements, and content remain the property of their respective owners and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tally is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tally will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of footage, data, revenue, business opportunity, or production time, even if advised that such damages were possible.
10. Suspension and Termination
Tally may suspend or terminate access to downloads, updates, or support if these Terms are violated. Upon termination, you must stop using any software or materials for which you no longer hold a valid right to use.
